OrganiGram Holdings Inc. is a TSX Venture Exchange listed company whose wholly owned subsidiary, OrganiGram Inc., is a licensed producer of medical marijuana in Canada. OrganiGram’s facility is located in Moncton, New Brunswick and the Company is regulated by the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations.

Organigram received its production license on February 24th, 2016. On the February 24th press release, Roger Rogers said, “With the approval of our production license we will soon be able to supply an organic oils solution to our clientele. With the continued growth of our customer base we are aware of the demand for an organic alternative which will complement our existing product line. ”

Organigram has now received approval from Health Canada to sell cannabis oil and becomes the 8th licensed producer to receive authorization from Health Canada to sell fresh marijuana and cannabis oil. 

The list of 8 licensed producers that have authorization to sell cannabis oils now include: Organigram, Tweed, Cannimed, Mettrum, Whistler Medical, Cannafarms, Tilray and Peace Naturals.
