(In development. v 1.03. Project name is a working title only.)

Investigating the potential benefits of Marijuana/Cannabis for people with the following diseases:

Cancer

ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease)

Dravet Syndrome/Severe Epilepsy

Parkinson's

Alzheimer's

Dementia

There are some Research Studies and also many Anecdotal Accounts that suggest Marijuana/Cannabis brings various kinds of relief and benefit, or has the potential to do so, to some people who have the diseases listed above. It's somewhat of a new frontier and what is going on in many countries with respect to results and research may be very significant.

For example,  it has been reported that some children with Severe Epilepsy (Dravet Syndrome, for example) that causes them to have 50 to 200 seizures  a day, have had their daily seizure number drop in half, and in some cases, their seizures have Stopped after they have started to take Medicinal Marijuana/Cannabis. This is a major advancement for these kids and their families.

The RC Project is putting a team together to look more deeply into all of this.

This is a research and development project.

The goal of the project is to bring various kinds of relief and benefit to people who have:

Cancer

ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease)

Dravet Syndrome/Severe Epilepsy

Parkinson's

Alzheimer's

Dementia

* Positive outcomes from Research and Development related to neurological diseases like ALS, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's might also also bring benefit to people with epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and motor neuron diseases like Familial Dysautonomia.
