Zwart Systems is a second generation owned family business that has been a leader in the horticulture irrigation industry for the past 45 plus years. Based in Ontario Canada, just 45 miles from Niagara Falls, Zwart Systems is in the heart of the greenhouse industry in North America.

We service greenhouse operations of all sizes, from small flower growers of less than an acre to large growers in excess of 100 acres of greenhouse production, in all four corners of North America. We have grown with the greenhouse industry since the 60’s and have developed strong relationships with our customers through top quality products and uncompromised service.

In 2012 when Canada introduced legalized Cannabis for medical use our phone started to ring from a new emerging industry. This opportunity allowed us to look forward and set a goal to be the very best supplier to this new sector in the market. We knew that our product and expertise fit the requirements of the Cannabis industry perfectly.

Cannabis production systems, whether in a greenhouse or a building, now accounts for 30% of our business and just like the greenhouse industry we have partnered some of the biggest names in this industry. Tweed, Mindful, Mettrum, Strainwise, and Bedrocan are just some of the over 50 companies we have worked with to supply everything from a simple growing bench system to a complete irrigation system.

One of the key things we offer this industry is rolling benches. These benches are something that greenhouse growers have been using since the 70’s to gain more growing space and less pathways in a growing space. Rolling benches provide up to 30% additional space to support plants under the same infrastructure thus providing a more efficient space that has a quicker return on investment.

Benches is one of the easiest ways, but we have many more system options that are transferable from the greenhouse sector to the Cannabis sector.
