Wildflower Marijuana Inc. (Trading Symbol: CSE:SUN ) is currently a MMPR Applicant.
It’s not every day that a company is able to align its business and environmental goals so closely. Many businesses believe that it’s one or the other, but we know what’s good for the planet is good for all of us. We also know in order to create a company that other people will stand behind, we need to be proud to stand behind it too.
We’re currently moving through Health Canada’s application process for producing and distributing high quality, pharmaceutical grade marijuana. As we complete this process, we focus on our goal of having the smallest carbon footprint of any marijuana producer in Canada.
By employing some of the greatest minds in the industry and harnessing cutting edge technology, we’re well on our way to accomplishing our dream.
Here are just a few ways our team and facility encourage sustainability:
- We will use as much rainwater as we can, showing respect for the planet’s limited resources.
- We will treat and filter our water to recirculate it back into the system, including the humidity pulled from the rooms through our air conditioning system and dehumidifiers. This translates to huge savings on water consumption.
- Our facility uses LED lights, which mean 30% savings in power and a vast reduction in heat generation. Less heat generated means fewer cooling systems needed, which translates to more energy savings.
And here are a few ways we promote cleanliness and quality:
- We will use only non-porous lab quality materials in the growing areas. This prevents any mold or fungi growth and allows for full sterilization of every surface in the growing environment.
- Our facility contains a carefully designed network of drains for thorough rinsing and sterilization of floors in all growing areas.
These are just a few of the ways we take sustainability and quality to heart, by continually refining our process and staying on the cutting edge of technology in pursuit of our goals and values.
